To Name Ohana
Our primary company is our for-profit corporation, Ohana Fiduciary Corporation. We also have an affiliated non-profit corporation, Ohana Financial Services. Statutory requirements necessitate different entities for our various roles, as follows:
Guardian: We serve under the name Ohana Fiduciary Corporation, which is a certified professional guardianship agency, CPG #010747.
Trustee: We serve under the name Ohana Financial Services, a Washington State Nonprofit Corp.
Attorney-in-Fact: We serve under the name Ohana Fiduciary Corporation. However, we have recently found it useful to have the following language included in the power of attorney:
If the name of an individual rather than a corporation is required by any institution, I designate Lynne M. Fulp as President of Ohana Fiduciary Corporation, or any succeeding President of Ohana Fiduciary Corporation, to be identified as the individual to be recognized on behalf of Ohana fiduciary Corporation as the attorney-in-fact.
Executor of an Estate or Administrator of a Probate: Because an individual must be named, we generally ask to be named in Wills as, Lynne M. Fulp, as President of Ohana Fiduciary Corporation, or any succeeding President of Ohana Fiduciary Corporation.
